Sampo's Christmas donation to the Children and Youth Foundation

Sampo plc has donated EUR 50,000 to the Finnish Children and Youth Foundation’s Christmas campaign. The funds will be used to support the Foundation’s activities across Finland.

- One of Sampo's sustainability objectives is to provide safety and create wellbeing and financial security in society. The Children and Youth Foundation does valuable work to support young people in difficult life situations, says Jarmo Salonen, Head of Investor Relations and Group Communications at Sampo.

The Children and Youth Foundation is a politically and religiously neutral foundation that helps youth in difficult life situations. The focus of its work is on young people between the ages of 13 and 25.

- It’s fantastic that Sampo decided to invest in youth. Sampo’s support allows us to work even more extensively and effectively for the benefit of young people, says Olli Alanen, Executive Director of the Children and Youth Foundation.
